The Chinese are constantly finalizing this decision and intend to show the results of their work on August 4. Smartphone manufacturers have been trying to hide the front camera under the screen for some time. There are even such phones on the market, and a good example is the ZTE Axon 20 5G. Oppo has also been working on its own solutions of this type for several years, and the results of these works will be announced on Wednesday.

Oppo announced that on August 4 it intends to demonstrate a new solution for the camera hidden under the smartphone display. We know that a perspective panoramic screen was used here. This is a combination of three different technologies. The work on them took more than two years. Here, Oppo applied the original screen and sensor for the camera. By the way, a new algorithm was used to optimize performance, including white balance, HDR and image fogging using artificial intelligence. We should learn more during tomorrow’s conference.
