Tesla batteries: more from the annual report
Tesla spoke about the work done in the framework of battery recycling. With the help of a new recycling process, it can recover up to 92% of materials from used batteries.
Tesla shared the details of the creation of the first battery recycling line at a facility in Nevada. It will process waste from the primary production of lithium batteries and extract minerals from used batteries. Last year, Tesla extracted 1,300 tons of nickel, 400 tons of copper and 80 tons of cobalt from recycled batteries.
