Boring Company receives permission to build a large network of tunnels under Las Vegas
The Boring Company has received approval to build a network of tunnels that will be located under the surface of Las Vegas. The total length of the sections will be 29 miles. 51 stations will also be created. Clark County claims that the tunnels will allow up to 57 thousand passengers to be transported within an hour.
The Boring Company, owned by Elon Musk, launched the first two Vegas Loop tunnels a few months ago, which allow passing a 0.8-mile (approx. 1.3 km) section under Las Vegas. Now the company has received permission from Clark County to build an entire network.
The Boring Company will build a whole network of tunnels under Las Vegas with a total length of 29 miles (less than 47 km). The company is very ambitious, and it is known that Elon Musk has been fighting for its implementation for a long time. The head of The Boring Company, previously presented his vision of cities with tunnels, which should relieve traffic on the streets located on the surface and, by the way, increase the opportunities for rapid movement of large megacities. Now his dream is starting to come true.
