Electric trike Daymak Spiritus has started mining cryptocurrency.
A year ago, the Canadian company Daymak described an ambitious and futuristic line of Avvenire electric vehicles, launched a startup in March 2021 to create the first Spiritus model, and now has assembled and shown its prototype. Although there is no data on sea trials yet, visually the car turned out to be even more spectacular than on the renders. And most importantly, it implements the concept of self-sufficiency due to cryptocurrency mining. Structurally, the Spiritus is a two-seat tricycle with an electric power plant. It is claimed that it is able to accelerate to hundreds in 1.8 seconds, which is noticeably faster than potential competitors in the face of Tesla Model S Plaid or Rimac Nevera.
But there is a nuance – the Ultimate Edition version is capable of this, which is made of carbon fiber, has a power reserve of 480 km and costs $ 150 thousand. And the basic Deluxe version with a power reserve of 290 km costs only $19,995. Daymak argues that in conditions when energy is constantly getting more expensive, cars should not use it just like that, it is criminal to leave them idle at night in the garage or in the parking lot during the day. Therefore, the Spiritus onboard system has a built-in farm for mining Bitcoin and Dogecoin cryptocurrencies, plus an appropriate interface is configured. The electric car will be smart enough to independently pay with cryptocurrency for parking, toll or fines. The launch of serial production of Daymak Spiritus is scheduled for 2023.
