The Watergen generator extracts drinking water directly from the air.

For more than 10 years, the Israeli company Watergen has been engaged in technologies for obtaining water from atmospheric air. Two years ago at CES-2019, the company introduced the AWG system, which was integrated into the central console of the car interior.
Now Watergen has demonstrated a new line of mobile devices developed as part of the Smart Mobility initiative. We are talking about a device resembling a conventional portable generator, only instead of generating electricity, the device extracts water from the surrounding air.
The installation works from a 12 V car outlet or a standard 220 V. The device uses a fan to suck in air, pumps it through a filter system to a patented heat exchanger that extracts water in the form of condensate, which then passes through a multi-level filtration system, being exposed, among other things, to ultraviolet radiation.
The purified water is collected and stored in a tank. The capacity of the unit is up to 20 liters per day. The start of sales is scheduled for early 2022.
