Citroen has turned the Ami electric car into a cute buggy SUV

The new concept car from Citroen My Ami is based on the popular mini-electric car Ami. Designers have added some elements to the novelty – in particular, more voluminous tires, an LED lamp and removable fabric doors.
The mini-electric car is designed for hiking enthusiasts, even a ten-year-old child can drive it. The hiking design emphasizes the camouflage decor – a combination of khaki, black and yellow colors. An equally important detail is the doors. There are two variants of My Ami – without doors and with removable canvas doors with zippers, which provides the necessary air circulation and an attractive appearance.
Among other innovations, it is worth noting an LED lighting panel, a removable speaker, a sun hood on the roof and a graphic package including a backlight with the words “Pilot”, “01” and “Co-pilot” and “02” above the driver’s and passenger seats. The seats, in turn, are filled with a layer of volumetric foam, which has the effect of “memory” of the configuration of the passenger’s body.
My Ami can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h and travel up to 70 km on a single charge from a 5.5 kWh battery. Such characteristics allow teenagers starting from the age of 14 to drive a mini-buggy in France and other European countries.
