96% of people are willing to sacrifice their salary for remote work and their pets

Corporate ideologists and managers have major problems – more and more Western companies are faced with the refusal of employees to return to offices from remote work. As follows from a study by Atomik Research agency, people are ready to give up some of the privileges, and even take a salary cut in order to preserve the opportunity to work remotely. Approximately 40% say they are too used to a comfortable working environment in the company of their pets.
The total number of those who do not want to return to the offices reaches 96%. And it is not difficult to understand them – 88% of respondents said that they have achieved greater efficiency in remote mode. In 82% of cases, productivity has increased, so people are ready to take a 20-30% pay cut, since they will still be able to earn enough with the same labor and time costs. And this was a significant blow to the myth that well-coordinated work in the office is the key to the success of a large business – reality sets other priorities.
It will now be much more difficult for employers to hire specialists, because the previous bonuses are losing relevance. Thus, 38% of respondents are ready to give up such an important medical insurance before, because their stress level and body load decreased by a third when working remotely. About 33% are afraid that when they return to the office, their job satisfaction will drop sharply, so 38% of people agree to give up paid leave, just not to do it.
And 10% of respondents are ready to sacrifice all privileges and half of their salary, just to stay at home to work in an embrace with their beloved cat or dog and not to contact colleagues and superiors face to face.
