In Canada, a compact clinic-booth with Internet access has been developed

In recent years, many people have become accustomed to medical consultations via video, but it happens that specialized devices are needed to make a diagnosis. This is why the H3 Health Cube, a compact clinical unit of the Canadian manufacturer UniDoc Health, is useful. H3 connects to the Internet and is made for installation in pharmacies, public spaces, government offices, shelters and other similar places. It can be used indoors or outdoors.
The idea is that instead of a full-time visit to the hospital, it will now be possible to order a medical audio/ video consultation through Cube. Depending on the complaints, the doctor will either ask to apply certain diagnostic devices in H3, or the patient will be assisted by local trained staff. The patient is guaranteed confidentiality throughout the entire visit. UV radiation and easy-to-clean surfaces will provide disinfection between sessions.
All H3s will be equipped with high-quality video communication and health data collection tools — a stethoscope, a cuff for measuring blood pressure, a thermometer, etc. – as well as equipment for computed tomography, colposcopy, abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiogram removal and everything necessary for taking and analyzing blood samples.
According to UniDoc, Health Cube is already being tested in three pharmacies in the province of Ontario, another 30 will be put into operation in Tucson, Arizona, followed by the deployment of units throughout the state.
