The Moscow Medical Center was visited for the first time by a team of hologram doctors.
According to NASA, at the end of last year, a hologram of a team of doctors was transferred to the ISS. The projection of a 3D image for the first time appeared on board the space station thanks to Microsoft technologies and specialists from AEXA Aerospace.
NASA reported that Microsoft has been developing hologram technology for six years. A communication session between NASA representative Dr. Schmidt and his colleagues with ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet on board the ISS was made possible thanks to the Microsoft Hololens Kinect camera and a computer with AEXA software.
AEXA specialists intend to continue creating augmented and virtual reality software, which will soon make telemedicine technologies a reality.
