The astronaut compared the sensations of flying on Russian and American spacecraft.
Thomas Mashburn, one of the most experienced astronauts, told about his impressions during a press conference, where he compared his feelings from flying on American and Russian spacecraft. In his opinion, despite the technical differences, they behave approximately the same way when starting and entering the dense layers of the atmosphere at the final stage of the flight, if only because they obey the same laws of physics. Thomas describes his emotions when landing as a “ton of fun”, although we are talking about serious overloads at the time of entering the dense layers of the atmosphere. In an unprepared person, according to him, the stomach will probably “make a flip” at this moment.
